The “Hack Award” is a global business plan contest where entrepreneurs will give a talk and showcase their ideas and business models. In this coming year, we will be focusing mainly on "next-generation mobility" and "infrastructure (maximizing efficiency of existing infrastructure as well as next-generation infrastructure including telecommunications, etc.)" with the theme of “Future Society (abundant, secure and sustainable society).” Presenting startups will be from both domestic and overseas.

*The event is held as a part of the Global Innovation Conference, Hack Osaka 2022. The schedule is subject to change depending on the progress of the conference.
*Award ceremony will be held Around 6:30PM.
*We will hold business meetings co-organized with Osaka Prefecture to provide matching services between Japanese and foreign startups and major corporations from the Osaka/Kansai region.

As a member of the Transaction Services Team, he delivered environmental, health, and safety due diligence for M&A transactions. Shumpei holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson. After working within the Investment Banking group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Shumpei joined Plug and Play in 2019.

- Tim Miksche has 20+ years of experience in the automotive industry, corporate innovation management and startup business. As Founder and CEO of transferNET, he leads a boutique consultancy firm supporting corporates and startups in open innovation management and business growth.
In addition to his own business, Tim is active Head of Audi Denkwerkstatt, the innovation and incubation hub of the premium German car maker AUDI in Berlin, Germany.
Tim regularly acts as juror, panelist and mentor at international startup events. He is also Country Advisor for Japan of German Entrepreneurship Asia. In 2018, Tim won first prize at the prestigious SLUSH Tokyo pitching competition for the deep-tech startup Artisense Corp.
