*Award ceremony will be held after 16:30.
*Overseas Hack Award 2021 contestants will be invited to business meetings with major corporations in Osaka/Kansai. Schedule for the meetings are tentatively set between February 19-25.

Target Products or Services
AI, IoT, VR/AR, robotics (automation), digital marketing, spatial monitoring, sensors, and services or products that utilize data analytics.
*Must introduce business models that contribute to open innovation in Osaka/Kansai such as through a format of collaboration with corporations in Osaka/Kansai.

*Must be able to participate in a real time Q&A (online) on February 18, the day of the event.

*Presentation material should be made within 10 slides in PowerPoint and adapted to a 16:9 aspect ratio.
*Supplementary materials or videos that may assist in describing the product or service are welcome, however, physical objects will not be accepted. Please be advised that all submitted materials will not be returned.

Document Screening

Based on the above criteria of the screening, 10 companies will be selected to compete onstage at Hack Award 2021 on February 18, 2021.
・Only companies that have passed this document screening to compete onstage will be notified via e-mail in late November 2020. Screening results and remarks will not be publicized.
・English pitch video to be used on the day of Hack Award 2021 must be recorded and submitted in advance.
Hack Award 2021
・Pitch video submitted by the contestants will be played on the day of Hack Award 2021.
・Maximum of 1 presenter onstage and 5 minutes of presentation time will be allotted per contestant.
・Judges will host a real-time Q&A session (online) of up to 3 minutes per contestant on the event day. Please make sure you prepare an environment to answer questions on the day.
・On the event day, 5 judges, including investors and accelerators, will evaluate the contestants’ pitches, and award the top 3 scoring companies. (TBC)
Notes
・Submission of the pitch video, the program for the Hack Award 2021 event day and other details will be sent to qualified contestants on a later date.
・Pitches given at Hack Award will be made available online under the archive section starting on February 18 (for a limited period).
