Hack Osaka －How to make a successful open innovation－
Osaka City prides itself as an“Open Innovation City,”and annually hosts the global innovation conference “Hack Osaka”. In this 8th iteration themed“How to make a successful open innovation,”we will explore and discuss a range of insightful questions such as “What does Open Innovation mean?” and “What is an efficient collaboration format between startups and existing corporations?”. Hence, players of the field from near and afar, be it entrepreneurs,investors,corporations,or even students,can come together to learn from one another’s successful experiences as stars of the ecosystem in which the integration of genuine connections offers hints on how to realize the ideal continuous stream of innovations? the Hack Osaka Movement.
Moreover, we have also invited young entrepreneurs who are accomplished overseas or who had been fostered by the Osaka Innovation Hub onstage to inspire entrepreneurship amongst the next generation.These programs will in turn expand our global innovation network to further horizons.

On 28th Feb(next to the day of Hack Osaka 2020),up-and-coming startups who have come to participate at Hack Award 2020 from around the world will become the central players at a business meeting with corporations from throughout Japan. From Sakai to the world～Bright shine seen from paradise of despair. ～
Tomura was first exposed to a life of entrepreneurship as a high school student when he attended a seminar organized by the Osaka Innovation Hub, and he took off abroad to the United States after graduation. Here, Tomura will be sharing the challenge-filled path he has taken thus far, as well as the new challenges that awaits in the future.
