KOTRA (Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency) and Osaka Innovation Hub co-hosted a Korean startup pitch event on November 22, 2019.

During the event, 10 startups with innovative technologies in such fields as AI and VR pitched their businesses to VCs and companies in Osaka. In addition, the session that followed explained about various incubation facilities as well as the Startup Visa scheme which has become available in Osaka City to support international startups and entrepreneurs expanding business in Osaka.

Our hope is that startups go across boarders overcoming cultural differences, and be a catalyst for the future business exchange between Japan and Korea.

韓国スタートアップの大阪進出を支援

KOTRA（大韓貿易投資振興公社）と大阪イノベーションハブが共同主催で、韓国スタートアップのピッチイベントを開催した。

11月22日実施の同イベントでは、AI、VRをはじめ革新的な技術を持つ10社のスタートアップが大阪のVC（ベンチャー投資家）や企業に向けてピッチを行った。また、ピッチ以外にも、韓国をはじめ海外スタートアップの大阪進出を促進するため、インキュベーション施設や大阪市で導入されたスタートアップビザなど支援事業の説明を行った。

スタートアップが国境や文化の違いといった垣根を超えて、今後の日韓ビジネス交流の起爆剤となることを期待している。
