“Start-up-boot-camp” is one of the largest programs in Europe from Rainmaking Innovation Ltd based in the UK. It has achieved good results in 18 cities worldwide but this is the first case in Japan. The program is themed “Smart City & Living” and will be promoted throughout Osaka/Kansai Region for the next three years. To encourage applications, “Mobility, Living, Health & Wellbeing and Tourism” has been selected as the sub-theme for this year. From 455 applications 13 were selected. For those chosen 13 companies, a support program will be provided based at GVH#5 from November, in preparation for a briefing session in February 2020 to which investors will be invited. In this program each company will receive the support of partners making their valuable resources available to stimulate growth through demonstrated experiments, market research and so on.

「Startupbootcamp」は、英国に拠点を置くRainmaking Innovation LTDが運営する欧州最大級のプログラムで、これまで世界18都市で開催実績を有しており、日本では初開催。同プログラムは「Smart City & Living」をテーマに、大阪・関西を拠点に3年間にわたって開催される。初年度の今年、「Mobility, Living, Health & Wellbeing, Tourism」をサブテーマに公募したところ、455社の応募があり、このたび13社が選定された。選抜された13社は、来年2月に投資家らを招いた報告会に向け、11月からGVH#5を拠点に支援プログラムが開始される。このプログラムではパートナーの協力を得て、各社が持つ豊富なリソースを生かした実証実験、市場調査など、成長を加速させる支援がなされる。
